Top 5 Sources of News and Information

Here are my top 5 sources for news and information:

1. Youtube:

https://www.youtube.com/

This is not your typical recommended news source, but I assure you it can actually be very beneficial if you use it specifically. Youtube cab provide a wide range of perspectives for different individuals. Some channels can provide a more in depth analysis on certain topics if needed. You can't always receive all the answers you have from the TV news. Also unlike news articles videos on YouTube can show visuals of a topic, and even longer visuals that the TV news might not be able to play. Now with this being said all content should be cross checked for is credibility with sources and links!

2. Upward News:

https://upward.news/

Ironically enough I found out about this news source from a YouTube video I watched. Upward is a news app that is subscription based. This allows it to be ad free. Upward News is a news source that I've personally never seen done before and it honestly should be the way all new sources that are on TV have to present their news. But that might be against the 1st amendment. However, Upward News lets you see what's going on in the left and the right in politics. This eliminates most bias! The most interesting one is the feature that they have which shows you everything that the left is talking about that the right isn't. And everything that the right is talking about that the left isn't. It's one of the best features I've ever come across.

3. Truthunedited.com:

https://truthunedited.com/

This one made the list because I am a Christian, so I like to get the news from that same perspective at times. If you are a Christian as well maybe this will spark your interest. But I will issue a warning this source poses very controversial and challenging topics and ideas. So please proceed with caution. Truthunedited.com provides information and perspectives on mainstream topics going on in today's society that may surround Christian values. Not only does it speak on current news, but it also applies the Bible to each and every topic and how it relates. If you're a Christian this could be a valuable and meaningful source for you. There are many news sources but not as many Christian sources for those who want biblical facts behind the news that we consume everyday, and how to apply it to our everyday lives.

4. 1440:

https://join1440.com/

1440 is another unbiased new source that I like to refer to. In their own words they are "a news source made for knowledge, not clicks", and "edited to be unbiased as humanly possible". They're also not tied to any large media outlet. I like them because they focus on the facts rather than narratives and opinions. They also do a good job at providing the full context on a topic, and are careful not to isolate any subject without all the facts.

5.  Weather.com:

Last but not least is Weather.com. This might not seem like a news source to most, but it surprisingly does report on a lot of news. This can be seen as local news mostly. When you click on your weather app in your phone, if you scroll down weather.com is linked. Here you can find up-to-date news in your general area. This can include traffic, crashes, road closures, potential storms. All of this is considered to be news, and it in my opinion can be very important on how one may go about their day.  They also provide recent story articles and videos that relate to the planet, earth, future weather topics, how to help the planet and more!

Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed!
